At the Intersection of Art & Activism
Led by the Asian American Advocacy Fund, the Artivism Lab seeks to utilize creative expression to cultivate awareness and social change. The Lab aims to empower Asian American artists, highlight Asian American narratives in public art spaces, and inspire our communities to political action.
Through various community arts projects, we facilitate connections between artists, artisans, and other creatives to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
COLLABORATE:
The Lab provides an artist residency program, opportunities for strategic partnerships, and workshops, providing resources for creatives to develop narrative power building skills.
CULTIVATE:
The lab creates exhibition opportunities for creatives to showcase their artwork and take a leading role in fostering conversation around emerging social justice issues.
